Hope Kids Occupational Therapy has been awarded a Silver Stevie Award in the Most Innovative Startup of the Year – Consumer Service Industries category at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, recognising our commitment to innovation in paediatric occupational therapy and the way we support children, families and communities across Melbourne.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards celebrate organisations that demonstrate excellence and innovation across the region. This year’s program received more than 1,000 nominations from 29 markets, with winners selected through evaluations from more than 125 global business executives serving as judges.

For our team, this recognition represents more than an award. It reflects years of listening to families, challenging traditional approaches, and continuously asking one important question:

Building a Different Approach to Paediatric Occupational Therapy

Since opening our doors, Hope Kids OT has grown with a clear vision: to provide evidence-based, family-centred occupational therapy that is accessible, culturally inclusive and meaningful for every child we support.

Our innovation has never been about creating something new for the sake of being different. It has been about finding better ways to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and real-life family needs.

This has shaped the way we work, from developing a multilingual team, expanding access through community partnerships, delivering parent education programs, collaborating with schools and early childhood settings, and creating systems that allow clinicians to continue growing while maintaining high standards of care.

Today, our team supports families across Melbourne through our clinics in Mount Waverley, Wantirna, Blackburn, Burwood East, Boxhill and Surrey Hills, alongside school, kindergarten, community and telehealth services.

Recognition Beyond Our Clinic Walls

This Silver Stevie Award follows Hope Kids OT’s recognition at the 2025 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards, where we were honoured in the Professional Medical Services category as well as being the Victorian state finalists in the Telstra Best of Business Awards.

While awards are not the reason we do this work, they provide a meaningful reflection point. They remind us that the values we have built our practice around clinical excellence, compassion, innovation and genuine partnership with families are making an impact beyond our own community. It gives us every reason to keep building, keep listening and keep raising the bar for what paediatric occupational therapy can look like.
